This represents the minister of trade and industry’s instructions on rice processing and trading. The instructions center on establishing the rice supply chain, including rice traders, processors, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. It also address issues surrounding the importation of rice into the country.

The order determines the respective prices for services rendered in seed quality control. It stipulates that beneficiaries shall cover costs for inspection and certification for produced and marketed seeds. It also states that symbolic costs shall be applied for services rendered, to ensure promotion in quality seed production and marketing.

The law establishes the Rwanda energy, water, and sanitation authority (EWSA) as a public institution with legal personality, and financial and administrative autonomy. The authority is charged with implementation of government policies relating to energy, water, and sanitation through coordination and monitoring of all actions. The law sets out and highlights key issues including; management and development of beekeeping, conservation of beekeeping resources, hygiene and prohibitions, and other tansitional provisions. The key activities involved in beekeeping as stated are; beehiving, honey harvesting, and processing and marketing of beekeeping products.

The law authorising the ratification of the protocol of agreement signed in Kigali Rwanda, between the Republic of Rwanda and the African Development Fund (ADF); this is in relation to the grant of eleven millio, eight hundred and sixty one thousand (11861000) units of account for scaling up energy access project.

The prime minister’s order determines the organizational structure and job summaries of the national agricultural export development board (NAEB)

The 2017 law establishes the Rwanda mines, petroleum and gas board as a public institution with legal personality, and financial and administrative autonomy. The board is charged with implementing national laws and policies related to mines, petroleum and gas, carry out exploration activities and advisory services, value mining and quarrying concessions, and collaborate with other institutions with similar mandate, among others.

The prime minister’s order establishes the national man and biosphere committee. The committee is charged with promoting and developing the activities of the International Man and Biosphere Programme of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation in Rwanda. The Rwandan environmental management authority is saddled with the responsibility of supervision and collaboration. It highlights the responsibilities and organization of the committee.

The prime minister’s order addressing the withdrawal of plots of land from the state public property, and included in the state’s private property for the construction of the Bugesera industrial park. The ministry of infrastructure, with other key ministries, is charged with implementation

The ministerial order determining modalities for concession agreement for tourism investment in protected areas. It broadly addresses requirements for concession, guidelines for concluding concessions, and investment in facilities in protected areas. The order repeals all prior provisions.

The law establishes the Rwanda food and medicines authority (RFMA). It determines its mission, organization, and functioning. The authority enjoys financial and administrative autonomy, as well as legal personality. The RFMA is charged with quality control and standardisation with regards to food and pharmaceutical products.
