The schedule fees of office prescribed by the regulations in the deeds regristries act are amended.

An amendment of the Marketing of Agricultural Products Act, 1996. Among others, the provisions include: new procedure to be followed in the constitution of the National Agricultural Marketing Council and its committees; alteration of the manner in which levies are to be utilised; auditing of levies; and to make further provision for the liquidation of boards under the repealed marketing Act of 1968.

The act amends the medicines and related substances act of 1965, to provide for the functions of the authority, composition of committees and board of the authority, and to redefine certain expressions for textual correctness and clarity.

The by-law is subject to the provisions of the spatial planning and land use management act of 2013. The by-law applies to all land within the geographical area of the Municipality, including land owned by the state; it binds every owner and their successor-in-title and every user of land, including the state. It provides for the establishment of the municipal spatial development framework to guide decisions to be made by municipalities relating to land management.

The rules in the notice applies to complaint referrals for contraventions related to the regulations of the consumer protection regulations for the COVID-19; the rules shall cease to be in force when the COVID-19 outbreak is declared to no longer be a national disaster. It seeks to regulate complaint referrals, as a means to minimise the effects of the national state of disaster.

The notice of the minister is premised on the national water act of 1998 which states that; when called upon to register a water use, a person who uses water must heed the call. It specifies the water uses covered by the notice, exclusions, area of applicability, and registration forms.

The notice establishes the levies on milk and other dairy products and determines the guideline prices for milk and other dairy products. The levies shall be paid by people who buy raw milk for processing and for export, people who import products subject to the schedules, and persons who produce raw milk and processes same.

The regulations apply to South African ships, reagrdless of where they are, and to small vessels and ships while they are within the Republic of South Africa, the territorial waters, and the fishing zones defined in the territorial waters act of 1963.

The policy is meant to be read along with the 2013 general policy on the allocation and management of fishing rights. The minister delegates powers of fishing rights allocation to officials of the department of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries. The objectives of allocating fishing rights include: to broaden meaningful participation, to promote food security, and to facilitate the recovery of over-exploited fish species. The policy sets out the criteria guiding evaluation, allocation and management of fishing rights in the HIT fishery; it is to serve as a guide for a delegated official.

The act provides for the extension of the application of laws relating to agricultural matters to territories which form part of the national territory of the Republic of South Africa. The laws of the Republic of South Africa applicable in the affected territory are outlined in the schedules of the act; they include: the fencing act of 1963, cooperatives act of 1981, livestock brands act of 1962, and the agricultural pests act of 1983.

Amendment of regulations 5 and 6 of the management of white shark cage diving regulations

The regulations operate under the consumer protection act of 2008. It addresses a variety of issues pertaining to protecting average consumers in the country: Franchise agreements, product labelling and trade description, auctions, complaint initiation, compliance notices, and confidentiality claims.

The act pushes to monitor compliance and provide the technical support with respect to international trade in Rhinoceros (White Rhino and Black Rhino).

Amendment of categories A and B on the residue stockpiles or residue deposits of the waste management activities list.

The act establishes the water research commission and water research fund. It provides for the promotion of research in connection with water affairs. The water research commission shall coordinate and promote the occurrence, preservation, conservation, pollution, and reclamation of water supplies for agricultural, industrial, and urban purposes.

The statutory measure determines the guideline prices of wheat, barley, and oats. It sets out to provide developmental support in the form of funds for research projects, market information, trade and market access, and information technology transfer for the winter cereal industry. The measure hopes to create a level playing field for players and stakeholders by ensuring access to accurate and timely information to guide their decision process. The measure applies to winter cereals.

The act seeks to rationalise acts of parliament by the department of environmental affairs and tourism; it amends some acts, and it extends the application to other areas within South Africa.

The regulations address; registration procedures and guidelines, labelling and containers, advertisements, manufacturing establishment, sampling and permissible deviations in active ingredient, invoices, sales, imports, appeals, and general provisions.

It is expressly stated that “no person shall export citrus fruits from the Republic of South Africa, unless quantities have been approved by the executive officer for that purpose”. It details application for approval of export, inspection guidelines and procedure, assessment of competence of testing laboratories involved in inspection, necessary fees, approvals and rejections, as well as appeal process.
