The statutory measure spells out the persons mandated to keep records and furnish returns related to milk and other dairy products, and the specific records to be kept.

The amendment takes the form of substitution and redefinition of headings in the schedules of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) regulations.

The minister, under the marine living resources act of 1998. There is a description of boundaries of marine protected areas and stipulations pertaining to the protected areas.

The act sets out provisions along the value chain of medicines and medical devices manufacturing, import and export and prescription of medical substances. It relates to medicines intended for both human and animal use.

The notice sets out the parties mandated to the register with Milk South Africa, application process by the parties, timeline for application, details of the application document, and addressing of applications.

The notice inserts items 55a and 55b in notice 544 of 2010; as it relates to construction and expansion of facilities for water treatment.

The act pertains to the sustainable utilization of marine living resources, conservation and preservation of biodiversity, and the restructuring of the fishing industry to address balance issues among all branches. The application applies to all persons in South Africa, all fishing vessels and aircraft in or above South African waters, all fishing activities carried out in South African Waters, and to the Prince Edward Islands.

No Agricultural product shall contain seeds of Crotolaria species, Datura species or Ricinis communis in measures greater than one seed per 1000g; and seeds of Argemone mexicana L., Convolvulus species, Ipomoea purpurea Roth., Lolium temulentum and Xanthium species in measures greater than seven seeds per 1000g.

The declaration operates under the 2014 air quality act. The greenhouse gases declared as priority pollutants are outlined; and it is mandated that people carrying out activities specified in the annexure should prepare pollution prevention plans for approval.

The act recognizes the scare nature of water and its uneven distribution in the Republic; it also points to the discriminatory laws and practices of the past that prevented the equitable access to and use of water Resources in South Africa. It calls for an integrated management of water resources and delegation of duties, to enable an inclusive process of water resource development.

The act provides for the expropriation of land and other property for public and other specified purposes. It spells out the powers of the minister and local authorities, inspection of properties meant for expropriation, offers of compensation, payment, basis of determining compensation, determination by the court or arbitration in absence of agreement, and withdrawal of expropriation, among others.

Indigineous knowledge is defined as knowledge which has been developed within an indigenous community and has been assimilated into the cultural and social identity of that community; knowledge of functional nature, natural resources, and cultural expressions. The act applies to all persons within the Republic, and to all knowledge specified in the act.

The notice declares particular groups of trees outlined in the schedule as “Champion Trees” under the national forests act of 1998. “No person may cut, disturb, damage or destroy any protected tree or possess, collect, remove, transport, export, purchase, sell, donate or in any other manner acquire or dispose of any protected tree or any forest product derived from a protected tree, except under a licence granted by the minister”. Detractors are regarded as first category offenders.

The notice amends the control measures of the agricultural pests act. It inserts definitions and control measures in the schedules. The control measures inserted include; prohibition relating to the occurrence and removal of pathogens and insects, and exemptions from prohibitions.

The regulations specify rules relative to the application for and the granting of an authorization for the carrying out of activities identified under the relevant sections of the environment conservation act of 1989. Applications shall be made provincial or local authorities and must, in certain cases, be referred to the minister.

This serves as an amendment to the national water act of 1998. It effects textual improvements, makes provisions for the correct designation of the department and minister, and amends the authority of the water tribunal, among others.
