This law provides that no alien (defined by this law) may acquire land save with approval of the Commissioner responsible for land and prohibits the unlawful occupation of land by an alien. It also provides information with respect to ejection proceedings and grants regulation-making powers for purposes of this law to the executive council. Also transfer of land by an alien must be approved by the commissioner.

This is a law to provide for the grant of a certificate to a small estate, exempt such from payment of estate duty and the grant of full letters of administration and other matters connected therewith.

A law to provide for the Lagos state water sector, Lagos Water Corporation and for connected purposes. These regulations establish the Lagos State Water Corporation (LSWC). In order to reflect the increasing importance of climate change issues in Nigeria, the Federal Executive Council adopted in 2012 the Nigeria Climate Change Policy Response and Strategy. To ensure an effective national response to the significant and multi-facetted impacts of climate change, Nigeria has adopted a comprehensive strategy, as well as several specific policies. The strategic goal of the Nigeria climate change policy response and strategy is to foster low-carbon, high growth economic development and build a climate resilient society through the attainment of the following objectives to: implement mitigation measures that will promote low carbon as well as sustainable and high economic growth, enhance national capacity to adapt to climate change; significantly increase public awareness and involve private sector participation in addressing the challenges of climate change, among others.

the overall goal of the national policy on infant and young child feeding in Nigeria is to ensure the optimal growth, protection and development of the Nigerian child from birth to the first five years of life. its objectives are to protect, promote and support exclusive breastfeeding in the first six months of life, create and sustain a positive image for breastfeeding throughout the society, empower all women (including women who work outside their homes) to adopt and practice optimal infant feeding, develop and promote and support adequate infant and young child feeding practices etc.

This act amends the Produce (enforcement of export standards) Act cap p32. laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004 by reviewing the penalties imposed under the Act.

It emphasizes that no milk or dairy products shall be manufactured, imported, exported, advertised, sold or distributed in Nigeria, unless it has been registered in accordance with the provisions of these regulations.
