The objectives of this agreement are to ensure the sustainable development of the community, provide the community with the opportunity to participate in the holder’s decisions and plans that may affect the community and its environs, and set out the key principles and directions on how the holder and the community will work together for their mutual benefit.

There is established a committee known as the petroleum safety and health committee. This document defines the functions of the committee. It emphasizes that any sum declared by any Act, whether past or future, to be a civil debt recoverable summarily may be recovered in the court of any magistrate of competent jurisdiction in the manner prescribed by this Act.

An Act of parliament to provide for the establishment of a deposit insurance system and for the receivership and liquidation of deposit taking institutions, to provide for the establishment of the Kenya deposit insurance corporation and for connected purposes. It establishes a corporation known as the Kenya deposit insurance corporation. The object and purpose for which the corporation is established is to provide a deposit insurance scheme for customers of member institutions and to receive, liquidate and wind-up any institution in respect of which the corporation is appointed receiver or liquidator in accordance with this Act.
