This regulation applies to restriction on the importation of bread loaves and pie pastries, application for import permit, issue of import permit, period of validity of permit, refusal to grant permit, and appeal against refusal to grant permit.

The Vision 2036 defines the vision and the aspiratipn of the people of Botswana. It aims to transform Botswana into an high-income country by 2036.

This pln result in several strategic area for implementation. The strategic area include efficiency of water allocation, water supply and demand management, integration of ecological water requirement, and institutional capacity building in IWRM among others.

The plan will run for 7 years. NDP places emphasis on creating a conducive environment for the private sector so that it plays a major role in driving economic development. More emphasis will be placed on maintenance of productive infrastructure, providing infrastructure needs for the private sector as an engine for economic growth, and on leveraging additional support for the service export, compared to merchandise export in view of the associated high transport costs.

To tackle some of the development challenges, NDP focus on six broad-based national priorities of: developing diversified sources of economic growth, human capital
development; social development; sustainable use of natural resources; consolidation of good governance and
strengthening of national security; and implementation of an effective monitoring and evaluation system.

Botswana ecotourism refers to the country’s cultural, as
well as natural heritage, and that great importance is placed on the active involvement (as opposed to mere participation) of host communities and other Batswana in all aspects of the industry’s management and development. The goal of the National Ecotourism Strategy is to create an environment in which all elements of tourism development planning and management facilitate, promote and reward adherence to the key ‘principles’ of ecotourism by all of
those involved in the tourism industry.

The pplicy was made to meet the increasingly
complex challenges facing Botswana in the development of water resources and the sector. The goal and objective of the policy to provide a national framework that will facilitate access to water of suitable quality and standards for
the citizenry and provide the foundations for sustainable development of water resources in support of economic growth, diversification and poverty eradication
