Access to efficient, safe, secure, and sustainable energy is one of the key hinges upon which economic development, national stability, and promotion of social equity rests on. The energy policy has three essential principles; transparent and effective governance, ease of doing business in the energy sector, and enhancement of legal, institutional, organizational, and human capacities in the sector. These principles are targetted at guidance and influence of decisions pertaining to the development of the energy sector in Rwanda.
