The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission makes the following regulations for the handling of customer complaints. It provides regulations on establishment of customer complaints units, constitution of the forum and quorum for its meetings, removal of a forum member, jurisdiction of the forum, duty of the distribution licensee to notify, procedure for filing complaints, manner of handling complaints by the forum, procedure for hearing complaints by the forum, decisions of the forum, appeal, commission to issue orders or directions, and reports to the commission.
