The aim of this policy is to consolidate and speed up implementation of the Women and Gender Development Policy, which strives to redress gender gaps and inequalities between men and women. It also aims to guide implementers to incorporate gender concerns into their policies, plans, strategies and programmes with a view to implementing commitments at international, regional and national levels.
