The 2018-2024 strategic plan for the energy sector covers the areas of electricity, biomass, and petroleum. It presents an overview of the 3 areas, and their future plans. This phase of the strategic plan follows from the implementation of the energy targets in EDPRS II, and sets the following objectives; improvement in stable supply of electricity, increase in petroleum reserves, street lighting, and balance of demand and supply of modern, energy efficient technologies, among others.
