This document provides the overview of the domestic economy, inclusive growth and macro-estability, and human capital development, well-being and social protection.

An Act to provide for the acquisition of farm equipment or material not being used for agricultural purposes; to amend section 5 of the Land Acquisition Act [Chapter 20:10]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the establishment of a fund to develop and promote the standardization of commodities and services and for other related purposes; to provide for the imposition of a levy upon employers or classes of employers for the benefit of the fund; to provide for the recovery of such levy from such employers or classes of employers; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

An Act to establish the Research Council of Zimbabwe and to confer on the Council functions and powers relating to the promotion, direction, supervision and co-ordination of research; to provide for the establishment of research councils and research institutes and for the control of such research councils and research institutes by the Council; to provide for the control of research conducted by bodies or persons in terms of any Act; to provide for the registration of foreign researchers; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to establish the National Biotechnology Authority whose function shall be to support and manage biotechnology research, development and application; to provide for the constitution of a board of the Authority; to provide for the establishment of the National Biotechnology Fund for the development of the products of biotechnology; to provide for the fixing of standards of quality and other matters relating to products of biotechnology produced in Zimbabwe; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the registration of plant breeders rights in respect of certain varieties of plants and the protection of the rights of persons who are registered as the holders of such rights; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the registration of sellers of seed and seed testing laboratories; to regulate the importation, exportation and sale of seed; to provide for the testing, certification and inspection of seed; and to provide for other matters connected with the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the registration of fertilizers, farm feeds, sterilizing plants and certain remedies; to regulate and restrict the importation and sale of fertilizers, farm feeds and certain remedies, and substances of animal origin intended for the manufacture of fertilizers or farm feeds; and to provide for matters incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the control and regulation of the tobacco industry in Zimbabwe, the promotion of the export of tobacco from Zimbabwe and the imposition of a levy on tobacco grown or sold in Zimbabwe; to control the use of agricultural remedies on tobacco and tobacco plants or lands; to provide for the establishment of the Tobacco Industry and Marketing Board and to prescribe its functions and powers; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the control of locusts.

An Act to provide for the establishment and use of a national mark in relation to the marketing of specified types of fruit grown in Zimbabwe; to prescribe the requisite standards and requirements for the export of specified types of fruit grown in Zimbabwe; and for matters incidental to the foregoing.

An Act provide for the functions, powers and administration of the Meteorological Services Department, and the legal framework for the levying of commercial rates for the department’s services to allow it to operate on a cost recovery basis; and to provide for matters incidental to or connected with the foregoing.

An Act to establish a civil protection organization and provide for the operation of civil protection services in times of disaster; to provide for the establishment of a fund to finance civil protection; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

An Act to empower the President to make regulations dealing with situations that have arisen or are likely to arise and that require to be dealt with as a matter of urgency; and to provide for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.

An Act to make exceptional provision for the protection of the community in cases where a declaration in terms of subsection (1), or a resolution in terms of subsection (6), of section 31J of the Constitution is in force; and to provide for matters incidental thereto or connected therewith.

An Act to provide for the sustainable management natural resources and protection of the environment; the prevention of pollution and environmental degradation; the preparation of a National Environmental Plan and other plans for the management and protection of the environment; the establishment of an Environmental Management Agency and an Environment Fund; to amend references to intensive conservation areas and committees and associated matters in various Acts; to repeal the Natural Resources Act [Chapter 20:13], the Atmospheric Pollution Prevention Act [Chapter 20:03], the Hazardous Substances and Articles Act [Chapter 15:05] and the Noxious Weeds Act [Chapter 19:07]; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.
