An Act to provide for the imposition of a communication service tax and for related matters.

An Act to establish a fund to assist nation-wide with financing of education; to provide for the management of the fund and to provide for related matters.

Makes amendments to Sections 4-6 and Regulations 9 and 14 of the Wildlife Conservation Act of 1971.

The amendment changes the monetary figures in section four of the Trees and Timber Decree, 1974.

Establishes the Volta River Authority, its members and its functions.

Makes vocabulary changes to the Volta River Development Act: Sections 6, 23, and 26.

Makes changes to the Volta River Development Act, 1961, Section 5.

This amendment brings a substitution to Section 3 of the Volta River Development Act of 1961, and also repeals Paragraph 1 of the initial Act.

This amendment introduces a new paragraph into Subsection 1 of Section 10 of the Volta River Development Act.

This Act establishes the Water and Sewerage Corporation, its functions, and related matters.

It amends the steps in which a board member can resign. The Act also includes amendments to Subsections 5 and 6.

The Law states that all mineral resources in Ghana are under the authority of the Provisional National Defence Council, and grants the government right of preemption over the lands. The law also lists the duties of the Chief Inspector of Mines, how people can access mineral licenses, the responsibilities associated to a mineral license holder, and lastly, provides a list of offences.

A law that discusses licensing qualifications and related matters; establishes a small scale gold mining committee; and discusses the penalties for mining without a license.

The Act makes changes to the Forest Protection Decree of 1974 by adding higher penalties to forest offences.

Makes changes to the Trees and Timber Decree of 1974, specifically on renewal applications and levies on timber exports. There are also changes to some monetary figures. The Trees and Timber (Amendment) Law of 1983 has herein been repealed.

Makes changes to the Timber Resources Management Act of 1974, specifically on: lands that would not be granted timber rights; timber right applicants disqualifications; investment related activites and restrictions; and other changes to Sections 17, 18 and 20.

The Act establishes a fund for the development of forest plantation suitable for timber production and its related research. Under this Act, one would find the functions of the Board in charge of the fund and the bodies eligible for the fund.

There are changes to the Forest Plantation Development Fund Act in this amendment. For example, phrasal changes to Sections 2, 4, 7, the Long Title, and changes to the Board Composition.

In these regulations lands are designated for timber coontracts. The regulations detail application process for timber rights and the responsibilities associated with having timber rights. There are also other related timber issues, for example, what is considered as a timber offence, chainsaw registration process, etc.

Regulations that outline the processes involved in applying for a permit, and what needs to be done after acquiring the permit; for example, delivering a report on the land that the permit holder possesses. The regulations also list the sources of applicant complaints and environmental offences.
