This plan was designed to reduce inequalities in health care and reverse the downward trend in health related impact and outcome indicators. The framework was further designed to foster partnerships in improving the financing and delivering services of the health sector.

The purpose of this action plan is to provide a framework for the intervention activities of the government and stakeholders. The government has support in realizing the millennium development goals through the implementation of high impact nutrition interventions. The interventions which includes breastfeeding, deworming, food fortification and management of malnutrition. first chapter of the plan analyzes the nutrition situation in Kenya; chapter two presents the strategic issues and their expected outcomes; chapter three provides the monitoring and evaluation approach; chapter four describes the strategic objectives, indicators and implementation framework for the strategic issues. The plan of action identifies 11 objectives and provides each with an expected outcome.

This strategy was developed to guide the Human Resources Strategy (HRH) interventions for improved health service delivery. An Act to establish Kenya food and drugs authority and to provide for the regulation for food, drugs and chemical substances in the country. The document provides regulations for establishment of Kenya food and drugs authority, the sales of medicines and therapeutic cosmetics, listing of scheduled substances, manufacturing of tobacco products and establishment of the national quality control laboratory.

The vision of this policy is to create a suitable environment for sustainable adoption and utilization of eHealth products and services. The eHealth policy is based on legislative and regulatory instruments such as 2010 constitution of Kenya, Kenya Information and communications Act, 2015. It explores situational analysis, the policy direction guiding principles and eHealth policy framework, policy goal, objectives and orientations and policy implementation, monitoring & evaluation framework.

The ministry of medical services rates the impact of local pharmaceutical industry in the manufacture of medicines from both health and economic development perspectives. This strategy was developed to strengthen the industry as it is currently under performing and also to address the need of the main stakeholders to enhance the development of pharmaceutical sector in Kenya.

The objective of these guidelines include: to improve literacy amongst the vulnerable populations especially those living with HIV and AIDS; to prevent stigmatisation and discrimination of those living with HIV and AIDS; provision of justice to persons living with HIV and AIDS; and the monitoring and evaluation of HIV and AIDS interventions.

The policy is anchored on 4 strategies namely strengthening health financing governance, adequate revenue generation, protection of financial risk and efficient strategic purchasing of essential health services.

This document outlines the framwork for the development of the health sector for the period 2018 to 2022. The strategy is focused on mobilising resources for the health sector and collaboration and coordination between stakeholders for the development of the health sector.

The standard applies to state water agencies, community drinking water system,water vendors, water used in public and private establishment, water used in food processing and water from privately owned drinking water system.
