This Act repeals the Police Act of 2004, and provide for a more accountable, transparent and responsible police force in the operations and management. The main objectives of this Act is to promote professionalism in the police force and foster trust, partnership and cooperation between the police force and members of the public to ensure peace and stability across the country.

This Act repeals the Railway Loan Act of 2004.
