This is a parliamentary Act to review and update the law relating to value added tax; to provide for the imposition of value added tax on supplies made in, or imported into Kenya, and for connected purposes.

This is a parliamentary Act that establishes a framework for consultation and co-operation between the national and county governments and amongst county governments; to establish mechanisms for the resolution of intergovernmental disputes pursuant to articles 6 and 189 of the constitution, and for connected purposes.

These regulations emphasize that no person shall, except with the permission of the director or an officer of the service of the rank above the rank of assistant warden or an agent of the director duly authorised in that behalf enter a national park unless he has paid the prescribed fee or is one of the permitted occupants of a vehicle in respect of which a special car pass is in force.

These regulations prohibit the hunting of game animals. “game animal” means any animal listed in the first schedule of the wildlife (conservation and management) act, 1976. All current hunting licences are hereby cancelled with immediate effect.

These rules concern licences to take forest produce specified in the first column of the second schedule to these rules. The licensing officer may, at his or her discretion, grant a licence subject to the condition that the forest produce shall be stacked at a specified place for inspection and checking before it is removed. The holder of a licence shall be exempted to obtain a licence under the forests (coast special areas) rules for any forest produce the removal of which is authorized under the present rules. The first schedule holds the form of a forest produce licence.

These rules provide for the registration of sisal plantation with the sisal board. The owner or manager of every sisal plantation shall apply in writing to the Sisal board for the registration of the name of each sisal plantation owned or managed by him; the plantation marks used in respect of the plantation.

This is a parliament Act to promote and maintain a stable agriculture, to provide for the conservation of the soil and its fertility and to stimulate the development of agricultural land in accordance with the accepted practices of good land management and good husbandry.

The first schedule of this document contains every programme of production (Form 1) and production order (Form 2). It outlines the conditions attached to production order.

This order declares the horticultural crops specified in the schedule to this order to be special crops for purposes of the agriculture act. Crops include fruits, oil plants, vegetables and decorative plants.

These are rules to regulate the cultivation of land on farms. It prescribes that no employee may cultivate for his own use any land on any farm, nor may any occupier of any farm permit such cultivation, unless the employee possesses a valid cultivation licence issued by the occupier in the form set out in the first schedule of this document.

These rules establish settlement schemes known as sugar settlement schemes specified in the first column of the first schedule comprising the area described in the second column of the same schedule. It emphasizes that no person may reside in, carries on business in, or occupies any part of a scheme or grazes any stock thereon, unless he is the holder of a valid licence or a letter of allotment granted to him by the commissioner of lands or is the authorized dependent of that licensee or letter of allotment holder.

This parliamentary Act regulates the importation, manufacture and sale of agricultural fertilizers and animal foodstuffs and substances of animal origin intended for the manufacture of such fertilizers and foodstuffs, and provides for matters incidental to and connected with the foregoing.

These rules declare that the animal foodstuffs specified in the first column of Part I of the schedule to these rules and having the characteristics specified in Part II of the that schedule, are prescribed to be approved animal foodstuffs. The rules also prescribe standards for approved fertilizers.

These rules prescribe scientific methods and apparatus to use for the analysis of fertilizers and animal feed for purposes of the fertilizers and animal foodstuffs act. Samples for analysis shall be taken from official samples which have been taken in the manner prescribed in the fertilizers and animal foodstuffs (sampling) rules, 1972.

The substances or mixture of substances specified in the first column of the schedule hereto which have the implied definitions shown in the second column of the said schedule are hereby prescribed to be approved fertilizers.

These rules concern a declaration to be made by the vendor of fertilizer approved under the fertilizers and animal foodstuffs (“approved fertilizer”) in a sale 500 kg or more. The declaration is a warranty by the vendor of certain aspects of the quality of approved fertilizer and that the fertilizer is not adulterated. Specific warranties as to quality standards for various types of fertilizers are given. The rules also concern the labelling of approved animal foodstuffs.

These rules provide packing and labelling standards for fertilizer approved under the fertilizers and animal foodstuffs act (“approved fertilizer”) for approved fertilizer exposed for sale in quantities of 25 kg or more.

These rules provide for the recording of fertilizer or animal foodstuffs. It prescribes that every importer, manufacturer and vendor of fertilizer or animal foodstuffs shall keep records in English in respect of every transaction he makes in fertilizers or animal foodstuffs.

This document provides rules for the sampling of fertilizer and animal foodstuff.

This Act establishes an index of names known as the national crop variety index, which apply to all the 25 varietal names which conform to the characteristics of the cultivated 25 plant varieties of any of the variety names specified in the first column of the schedule hereto.
