This document details a five-year plan of the Department of Sports, Arts & Culture. The department priorities are to build a capable, ethical and developmental State and to transform the economy and create jobs. It plans to achieve a transformed sport, arts and culture sector, and compliant and responsive governance.

This is an Act to amend the Criminal Procedure Act 1997, so as to provide for the taking of specified bodily samples from certain categories of persons for the purposes of forensic DNA analysis and to provide in particular for the protection of the rights of women and children in the taking of DNA samples.

This is an Act to provide for the equitable division of revenue raised nationally among the national, provincial and local spheres of government for the 2014/15 financial year, the determination of each province’s equitable share and allocations to provinces, local government and municipalities from national government’s share and the responsibilities of all three spheres pursuant to such division and allocations and to provide for related matters.

This is an Act to provide for the transformation of the geomatics profession, to provide for the establishment of the South African Geomatics Council as a juristic person and provide for the facilitation of accessibility to the geomatics profession.

This is an Act to provide for the designation, promotion, development, operation and management of Special Economic Zones, to provide for the establishment, appointment of members and functioning of the Special Economic Zones Advisory Board, to provide for the establishment of the Special Economic Zones Fund, to regulate the application, issuing, suspension, withdrawal and transfer of Special Economic Zones operator permits, to provide for functions of the Special Economic Zones operator, to provide for transitional arrangements, and to provide for related matters.

This document provides guidelines for national government departments to develop, manage and maintain websites that are standard across all departments.

This is an Act to appropriate money from the National Revenue Fund for the requirements of the State for the 2013/14 financial year, to prescribe conditions for the spending of funds withdrawn for the 2014/15 financial year before the commencement of the Appropriation Act for the 2014/15 financial year and to provide for related matters.

This is an Act to amend the National Qualifications Framework Act, 2008, so as to amend and insert certain definitions, to provide for the verification of all qualifications or part-qualifications by the SAQA, to provide for the formulation of criteria for evaluating foreign qualifications and to provide for the establishment and maintenance of separate registers of misrepresented or fraudulent qualifications or part-qualifications.

This is an Act to provide for the regulation of property practitioners, to provide for the continuation of the Estate Agency Affairs Board as the Property Practitioners Regulatory Authority, to provide for the appointment of the members of the Board and matters incidental thereto, to provide for the appointment of the Chief Executive Officer and other staff members of the Authority, to provide for transformation of the property practitioners sector, to provide for the establishment of the transformation fund and establishment of the research centre on transformation, amongst others.

This is an Act to amend the Child Justice Act, 2008, so as to amend a definition to regulate the minimum age of criminal capacity, to further regulate the provisions relating to the decision to prosecute a child who is 12 years or older but under the age of 14 years, to further regulate the proof of criminal capacity, to further regulate the assessment report by the probation officer and to further regulate the factors to be considered by a prosecutor when diverting a matter before a preliminary inquiry.

An Act to amend the Independent Police Investigative Directorate Act, 2011, so as to provide for parliamentary oversight in relation to the suspension, discipline or removal of the Executive Director and to provide for related matters

An Act to amend the Money Bills Amendment Procedure and Related Matters Act, 2009, so as to amend and insert certain definitions, to clarify which instruments the Act applies to, to correct the powers and functions of the committees dealing with matters related to the Act, to clarify and amend the procedure, resultant reporting and periods involved in the amendment of money Bills and division of revenue Bills and related fiscal instruments and to repeal certain provisions.

An Act to amend the National Credit Act, 2005, so as to provide for debt intervention, to insert new definitions, to include the evaluation and referral of debt intervention applications as a function of the National Credit Regulator and to provide for the creation of capacity within the National Credit Regulator and logistical arrangements to execute this function and to include the consideration of a referral as a function of the Tribunal.
