This is a parliamentary Act that provides for the disposal of goods deposited under certain contracts but not re-delivered; and for connected purposes. It apply to goods in the possession or under the control of a custodian under a contract—to repair, treat or work on the goods, to value, survey or give an estimate relating to the goods, for custody or warehousing of the goods for reward and for carriage of the goods or under any other contract of bailment, express or implied.
