An Act to regulate the provision of accessible, equitable and qualitative education and to provide for the establishment, regulation, organization, governance, management and funding of educational institutions. It also provides for the establishment of education boards and for their functions and domesticates the Convention on the Rights of the Child in relation to education, repeals and replaces the Education Act, 1966, and the African Education Act, 1951.

An Act to provide for the appointment of the Director of Fisheries and fisheries officers and provide for their powers and functions. It promotes the sustainable development of fisheries and a precautionary approach in fisheries management, conservation, utilisation and development and also establishes fisheries management areas and fisheries management committees.

An Act to give effect to the Millennium Challenge Compact and Program Implementation Agreement. It expands access to improve reliability of water supply, sanitation and drainage services in select urban and peri-urban areas of Lusaka in order to reduce the incidence of waterborne and water related diseases. It generates time savings for households and businesses and reduce non-revenue water in the water supply network by improving water supply and sanitation and drainage services and provide for related matters.

An Act to establish the teaching Council of Zambia and define its functions and powers and to provide for the regulation of teachers, their practice and professional conduct; provide for the accreditation and regulation of colleges of education

An Act to provide for the establishment of the Higher Education Authority and define its functions and powers. It provides for quality assurance and quality promotion in higher education and provides for the establishment, governance and the regulation of public higher education institutions. It also provides for the registration and regulation of private higher education institutions; repeals and replaces the University Act, 1999.

An Act to continue the existence of the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority and re-name it as the Zambia Medicines Regulatory Authority. It provides for the functions and powers of the Authority; the registration and regulation of pharmacies, health shops and agro-veterinary shops; and the registration and regulation of medicines and allied substances. It also provides for the regulation of the manufacture, importation, exportation, possession, storage, distribution, supply, promotion, advertising, sale and use of medicines and allied substances.

An Act to establish the National Health Research Authority and provide for its functions and powers; the National Health Research Ethics Board and provide for its functions and powers and provide a regulatory framework for the development , regulation, financing and coordination of health research and ensure the development of consistent health research standards and guidelines for ethically sound health research.
