An Act to continue the existence of the Communications Authority and re-name it as the Zambia Information and Communication Technology Authority; provide for the regulation of information and communication technology; facilitate access to information and communication technologies; protect the rights and interests of service providers and consumers; repeal the Telecommunications Act, 1994, and the Radiocommunications Act, 1994; and provide for related matters.

An Act to promote and facilitate the implementation of privately financed infrastructure projects and effective delivery of social services by enhancing transparency, fairness and long term sustainability and removing undesirable restrictions on private sector participation in the provision of social sector services and the development and operation of public infrastructure; establish a Public Private Partnership Unit and provide for its functions; establish the Public-Private Partnership Council and provide for its functions; provide for public-private partnerships for the construction and operation of new infrastructure facilities and systems and the maintenance, rehabilitation, modernisation, expansion and operation of existing infrastructure facilities and systems and the provision of social sector services.

An Act to provide for registration of animal Identification marks and marking operators; provide for appointment of the registrar of animal identification; to repeal and replace the brands act;1913; and provide for related matters.

An Act to provide for the appointment of the Director responsible for veterinary services and other staff and define their powers and functions. It provides for the prevention and control of animal diseases and for the quarantine of animals. It regulates the importation and exportation of animals, animal products, animal by- products, articles and animal feed; establishes the Animal Disease Control Fund; repeal and replace the Stock Diseases Act, 1961; and provides for related matters.

An Act to amend the Copyrights and Performance Rights Act.

An Act to continue the existence of the Zambia Competition Commission and rename it as the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission; safeguard and promote competition; protect consumers against unfair trade practices; provide for the establishment of the Competition and Consumer Protection Tribunal; repeal and replace the Competition and Fair Trading Act, 1994; and provide for the related matters.

An Act to approve the excess expenditure of moneys aggregating two billion, seven hundred and seventy-one million, nine hundred and sixty-one thousand, nine hundred and eighty-four kwacha required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ended on 31st December, 2007.

An Act to regulate the dairy industry so as to develop an efficient and self-sustaining dairy industry that will effectively contribute towards poverty alleviation, household food security and employment creation; establish the Dairy Industry Development Board and provides for its functions and powers; enhance milk production in order to fully utilise the capacity of processing facilities, so as to achieve growth in the processing of safe and wholesome high value milk products; provides for the processing, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of milk; ensure collaboration and participation of all stakeholders within the dairy industry and provide wider service to farmers in the dairy industry.

An Act to amend the Companies (Certificates Validation) Act.

An Act to provide for the introduction and implementation of plea negotiations and plea agreements inthe criminal justice system and the matters connectedwith or, incidental to, the foregoing.

An Act to provide for the confiscation of the proceeds of crime; provide for the deprivation of any person of any proceed, benefit or property derived from the commission of any serious offence; facilitate the tracing of any proceed, benefit and property derived from the commission of any serious offence; provide for the domestication of the United Nations Convention against Corruption; and provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

An Act to continue the existence of the Engineering Institution of Zambia. It provides for the registration of engineering professionals, engineering units and engineering organisations and regulate their professional conduct; repeals the Engineering Institution of Zambia Act, 1992; and provides for related matters.

An Act to amend the Zambia National Broadcasting Corporation Act.

An Act to establish the Patents and Companies Registration Agency; provide for the functions of the Agency; transfer from the Government to the Agency the functions and the powers of the offices of the Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Registered Business Names, Registrar of Patents, Registrar of Trade Marks and Registrar of Registered Designs; and provide for related matters.

An Act to amend the Patents Act.

An Act to establish and provide for the maintenance and operation of a system for the anticipation, preparedness, prevention, coordination, mitigation and management of disaster situations and the organisation of relief and recovery from disasters; establish the National Disaster Management and Mitigation Unit and provide for its powers and functions; provide for the declaration of disasters; and establish the National Disaster Relief Trust Fund.

An Act to amend the Companies Act.

An Act to confirm the supplementary expenditure of moneys aggregating one trillion, two hundred and seventy-four billion, six hundred and fifty-four million, ninety-seven thousand, two hundred and fourty-one kwacha required for the services of the Republic during the financial year ended on 31st December, 2008.

An Act to repeal the Dairy Produce Marketing and Levy Act.

An Act to Repeal the Dairy Produce Board (Establishment) Act.
