The memorandum of understanding is effective from 24th of September, 2013 to 24th of September, 2017 and renewable thereafter by mutual agreement. Included in the agreement is that the Commission may engage on ad-hoc basis, the service of corps members for its electoral duties, the commission shall train the corps members to engaged for its electoral duties before deployment, the Commission may request for camp facilities from the NYSC for the purpose of training corps members and other related electoral duties and the Commission shall use NYSC staff in supervisory roles during electoral duties in which corps members are involved.
