An Act to promote the development of the economy by encouraging entrepreneurship, enterprise flexibility in the formation and maintenance of companies. It provides for the incorporation, categorisation, management and administration of different types of companies.

An Act to provide for co-ordinated border management and control for the efficient movement and clearance of goods; give effect to the provisions of agreements on one-stop border posts; provide for simplified arrangements with adjoining States relating to the movement and clearance of goods; to establish control zones and provide for powers of officers in control zones; to provide for the development, management and maintenance of border infrastructure; to authorise the application of the Laws of Zambia and the laws of adjoining States in one-stop border posts; to repeal and replace the One-stop Border Control Act, 2009; and to provide for matters connected with, or incidental to, the foregoing.

This policy is developed to encourage employees and members of the public to make disclosures. It emphasizes that the Department of Small Business Development staff has a responsibility to disclose criminal and any other irregular conduct in the workplace and the employer has a responsibility to take all necessary steps to ensure that employees who disclose such information are protected from any reprisals as a result of such disclosure.

This is an Act to provide for electronic deeds registration, having regard to legislation regulating electronic communication and transactions and to provide for related matters connected.

This Act amends the Films and Publications Act, 1996, so as to insert and amend certain definitions, to provide for the establishment, composition and appointment of members of the Enforcement Committee, to provide for the powers and duties of the Enforcement Committee, to regulate online distribution of films and games and to extend the compliance obligations of the Films and Publications Act and the compliance and monitoring functions of the Film and Publication Board to online distributors.

This document amends the Custom and Excise Act, 1964 and provides for special provisions in respect of payment of excise duty on certain goods during period commencing 1 May 2020 and ending 30 June 2020. It applies to tobacco products, beer, wine (including vermouth), other fermented beverages and spirits and other spirituous beverages in respect of which payment of excise duties are due during the period commencing 1 May 2020 and ending 30 June 2020.

This is an Act to amend the Tobacco Products Control Act, 1993, so as to define certain expressions and to amend certain definitions; to provide anew for the control over the smoking of tobacco products, to make provision for standards in respect of the manufacturing and export of tobacco products, to extend the Minister’s power to make regulations and to increase penalties.

This is an Act to enact the International Maritime Organization Protocol of 1992 to amend the International Convention on Civil Liability for Oil Pollution Damage of 29 November 1969 into law and to provide for matters connected therewith.
